Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, which makes generic
drugs, has won approval to sell the first copies of GlaxoSmithKline’s
Zofran for nausea related to chemotherapy and surgical procedures.
Shipment will begin immediately, Teva said in a statement. The brand-name
versions of the injections had sales of $695 million in the 12 months
that ended in September, Teva said, citing figures from IMS Health.
